I just like this word... asinine PRONUNCIATION: (ASS-uh-nyn) MEANING: adjective: Extremely stupid; ridiculous. ETYMOLOGY: From Latin asinus (ass), from the general reputation of donkeys -- entirely undeserved -- as being stubborn and stupid.
